Home Microdermabrasion Kits are now produced by most cosmetics companies but they quality and cost vary considerably. Below we will take a look at some of these.

Neutrogena Microdermabrasion

Neutrogena produce a number of home microdermabrasion kits. Their classic system became an instant hit but has now been replaced by their "At Home MicroDermabrasion System". At present there are 3 versions of the kit:

1. Neutrogena Advanced Solutions At Home MicroDermabrasion System which is described as being designed to give professional level microdermabrasion. It includes their applicator and 2 replacement soft foam sponge heads.

2. Neutrogena Advanced Solutions MicroDermabrasion Body System which has been designed especially for microdermabrasion of your body! Overall there appears to be little difference from the kit above.

3. Neutrogena Advanced Solutions At Home MicroDermabrasion System - Face which, obviously has been designed for microdermabrasion of the face. However, again, there appears to be little difference between this kit and the other two.

All three home kits above make use of micro-oxide crystallized cream. As Neutrogena produce a whole range of skin care products it would be sensible to use only their complimentary products when using their home kits.

Neutrogena's 3-component treatment package includes: a 2-speed System Applicator, Soft Foam Sponge Head, and a Micro-Oxide Crystalline Cream.

The instructions are easy to follow and simply advise that you ensure that your face is cleaned and dried before use. You then dab a small amount of cream onto the sponge head which is attached to the hand held applicator. You then massage the skin’s surface for 1-2 minutes and then rinse with warm water.
