DermaNew's system is similar to that of Neutrogena, in that it has a hand tool and uses creme. However closer inspection reveals a superior quality machine which has clearly been designed with the end user in mind. As mentioned above, the tool has a 2 minute timer, this is far more important than you would first consider. The treatment is gentle but effective and very relaxing, it is surprising how fast 2 minutes can fly by sometimes but over use of any microdermabrasion product can lead to discomfort and can actually damage the skin. Further design features lead to a machine that is comfortable to use. The ergonomic design also features Foam Applicators which are contoured and teardrop shaped. This allows you to access areas of the face which are almost impossible to reach with other (cheaper) machines. This is most easily noticed when using the tool around the nose and mouth. The DermNew tool manages to reach into those impossible areas of the nose allowing for deep pore cleansing of these problematic areas.
